Death is inevitable. It is indeed a debt all human being will pay— as a writer has once illustrated this his immortal lines: ‘’ Death is not evil, but a coward to the human existence ‘’ Sure, death has shown itself to be proud, when it came to cease the breath of a quintessential woman, Late Apostolic Mother Adenaike, who had lived with a monumental achievements
Her death came to her family with wanton tears and, many of whom are still whimpering that an avatar whose magnitude had been cut short by the scrupulous illness that came to her and left grief to her family and friends
Well, the deceased was passed into eternal sojourn on January 12, 2019, after a brief illness. And there was a service of songs that was held on January 24, 2019, at her residence, located at 3 Mukandasi Street, Mafoluku Oshodi Lagos. Meanwhile, the Christian wake keep was later held that her home town in Alaro, Sango Ibadan.
Immediately after her wake keep, her interred was at Apete area of Sango, Ibadan, Oyo State capital. Where family and friends bid her a farewell with different kinds of dirges to convey her lost to heavenly home.
The deceased was a woman of epitome, a virtuous woman, and even with a virtuoso skill that made her to start her career as a cashier with the defunct Daily Times Nigeria and later moved to Republic Newspaper. After years of official work experience, she resigned and ventured into the business of buying and selling
She brought News prints papers and newspaper from Newspaper organization in bulk and sold to petty traders. She also supplied waste papers to toilet roll companies, which include Bolous Enterprise limited.
During the early age of Late Mrs. Rebecca Omolabake Adenaike, she attained a primary education with her contemporaries between 1965 and 1971.
Thus, after her primary education, she proceeded to Naraguta Grammar School, Jos Plateau State for her secondary education and completed her secondary education henceforth at Fiditi Grammar School, Oyo state.
Even with the way death took her away, Late Mrs. Rebecca was an optimist, who was a devout Christian and a philanthropist; also who loved to fast and pray fervently during her time on earth. It was indeed a sorrowful lost, and perhaps, a tragic one; for someone like Apostolic Mother R.O who was affectionately love by friends, family and her children.
Therefore, the deceased, was a humanist. And was a staunch member of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Serephim Oke-Ayo Iriapada Kristi, Mafoluku Oshodi.
Regardless of her painful exist from this world; although, in a solemn sober, Mrs. Rebecca was a former Secretary to the church and she was blessed with three male children.
So, if death is pious, that means, it has shown itself than what the English poet, John Donne had written in his six sonnet ‘’ Death do not be proud’’ however, the departure of Mrs. Rebecca was not a lost alone but a wound that won’t be forgotten because she was an irreplaceable jewel to her family and friend.
