In other to address the nagging issue of human trafficking and modern day slavery, Make Me Elegant Foundation, has organized a one day event tagged Trials and Tribulations.
The event scheduled to hold on Wednesday October 31, will commence at 7 a.m, at the Ooni’s Palace in Ile-Ife with a walk.
Lined-up of speakers for the event include: Miss Adewunmi Adediran, C.O.O, House of Oduduwa Foundation, Honourable Bolanle Sarumi Aliyu, Founder, BASA Foundation, Odofin Mariam Adeola, CEO,k.Doff House of Trends, Mr Ayilola Elisha, Founder, DTA Health Support Foundation.
Others are: Mrs Grace Adekanle, Founder, Voice of Influence Foundation, Dr Mrs Zuwaira Yusuf, Founder of Zudorschildhood and the convener of the event, Mrs Kehinde Okoroafor.
Apart from the Trials and Tribulations initiative, Mrs. Kehinde Okoroafor has earned name for herself as a tireless giver, who continues to empower youths across the country and beyond through her foundation, Make Me Elegant. Her large heart and giving spree has also benefitted many in countries including: South Africa, Ethiopia, UAE, Republic of Ireland, United Kingdom, etc.
She has also worked with renowned Royal fathers such as the Ooni of Ife, Oba Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi, Ojaja II and Alake of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Gbadebo to help empower hundreds of their subjects.
It is believed that initiative such as this, would contribute in no small measure in combating the menace of human trafficking and modern day slavery in Nigeria, nay Africa.
