Niola Cancer Care Foundation, a non-governmental Organisation promoting the awareness of cancer was at God’s Ornament Nursery and Primary School Ogijo in Sagamu, Ogun State on Mrch 5, 2019, to mark this years World Colorectal Cancer Day.
Warmly received by the school’s proprietress Mrs Yetunde Owolabi and staff, with the pupils and their parents in attendance the foundation got down to the business of educating them on Colorectal Cancer and other types of cancers. It was indeed an enlightening experience for most present, with very positive responses.
Co-founder of the foundation, Dr Adedapo Osinowo spoke at the event, as well as founder Mrs Eniola S. Akintude both elaborating more on the various issues attending the cancer scourge and preventive measures.
Present at the event also was the foundation’s brand ambassador, Nollywood actor Mrs Lillian Amah-Aluko, a role model of repute, who was there to educate the crowd.
Rotimi Aiyede NCCF Head of Operations anchored the event as the kids and everyone present learnt and gained knowledge concerning the subject matter.
The highpoint of the event was presentation of a cake by God’s Ornaments School to mark Niola Cancer Care Foundation’s 5yrs of impacting lives, in appreciation of the humanitarian strides of the foundation.
